He gave paintings to his driver, his tailor,\u201d Nahmad said. \u201cHe wanted his art to be collected by all kinds of people, not only by the super-rich.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Organisers say the previous two raffles raised more than \u20ac10 million combined, funding cultural initiatives in Lebanon as well as water and hygiene programmes in parts of Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This latest edition shifts the focus firmly to health, backing research into Alzheimer\u2019s disease through one of France\u2019s leading hospital-based foundations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For one ticket holder, the outcome could be life-changing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For organisers, the hope is that thousands of smaller contributions will add up to sustained funding for research into a disease that continues to affect millions worldwide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The draw will take place on the evening of Tuesday, 14 April in Paris.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A \u20ac100 ticket could land you a Picasso.
