Launched in 2016 by S\u00e9zane founder Morgane S\u00e9zalory, the Parisian menswear label has earned a global following for its breezy, earth-toned button-downs, tees, and trousers made from luxurious natural fabrics. \u201cSomething with really good quality, not too expensive, with modern style, but not too fashion,\u201d explains Arthur Person, Octobre\u2019s brand director.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not being particularly interested in capital-F fashion, Person is obsessed with the look, feel, and emotional resonance of clothes, a perspective that has shaped Octobre \u00c9ditions over the last decade. \u201cI\u2019m not following the catwalk or shows or anything,\u201d he says, \u201cbut I\u2019m really attached to the quality of fabric, to know how it\u2019s made, and the story behind the product.\u201d The day before the brand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/coolest-things-at-paris-fashion-week-showrooms-ss27\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paris Fashion Week<\/a> presentation, instead of simply walking me through the racks containing his latest collection, Person offered to spend the day showing me some of his favorite spots in the city.
