Some watches in Diana’s collection were very exclusive. One such piece is her diamond-bedecked ‘Lady Kalla’ cocktail watch by Vacheron Constantin. British Vogue reported that it was given to her by Queen Elizabeth II, who initially received it as a 1947 wedding gift. The beautiful piece was feminine in design and appeared more like a bracelet than a timepiece.<\/p>\n

Diana is thought to have Cartier’s Santos watch in 1981<\/p>\n

In her engagement photograph, which was released in 1981, Diana donned a resplendent blue suit, with a high-necked blouse alongside her show-stopping engagement ring. On her wrist sat a large watch, and many experts have remarked that it was the Cartier Santos timepiece, due to its octagonal face, although this has been the subject of speculation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
