Stellantis is adding more value to its connected services for the 2027 model year by placing remote engine start and stop inside its standard 10-year Connect One package<\/a> for most eligible U.S. vehicles.<\/p>\n

That means buyers of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep\u00ae, Ram, FIAT, and Alfa Romeo models will be able to start or shut off their vehicle through the brand mobile app without paying for a separate monthly subscription. Connect One is included for 10 years at no additional charge after enrollment.<\/p>\n

Stellantis is also lowering the price of its optional Connect Wi-Fi Plus package. The service will now cost $15.99 per month, which is $2 less than before. Customers who activate it within 30 days of buying their vehicle can receive a three-month free trial.<\/p>\n

Remote start is especially useful in areas with hot summers or cold winters. Instead of being within key-fob range, owners can use a compatible smartphone app<\/a> to start the vehicle from farther away, allowing the cabin to begin heating or cooling before they get inside.<\/p>\n

For most 2027 Stellantis vehicles, that capability will now be part of Connect One rather than being locked behind a paid subscription. Remote door locking and unlocking will remain included, along with several safety and vehicle-health tools.<\/p>\n

Ricardo Stamatti<\/a>, Head of Stellantis\u2019 Software Business Unit, said customers wanted connected services with practical everyday value. He pointed to remote start as a feature that can make a difference during a freezing Minnesota morning or a hot Texas afternoon.<\/p>\n

Depending on the vehicle, Connect One services include remote start and stop, remote door locking and unlocking, over-the-air software updates, monthly vehicle health reports, recall notifications, service scheduling, and automatic emergency calls.<\/p>\n

Owners can also receive health alerts through the brand app, remotely erase stored personal information, and access certain in-vehicle games where supported.<\/p>\n

Because the plan is included for 10 years, owners will not have to decide after a short trial whether basic remote functions are worth another recurring charge. Enrollment is still required, and available features can vary by model and platform.<\/p>\n

Drivers who want a broader package can subscribe to Connect Wi-Fi Plus. The plan includes unlimited data for the vehicle\u2019s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and can support as many as eight devices at one time.<\/p>\n

The package also adds remote horn and light activation, stolen vehicle assistance, theft alerts, vehicle location support, and connected navigation. Depending on the vehicle, navigation tools can include Send & Go routing, last-mile directions, fuel and parking searches, dynamic range mapping, drive alerts, and speed-camera warnings.<\/p>\n

Not every 2027 Stellantis vehicle will follow the same connected-services structure.<\/p>\n

The 2027 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer S will include 10 years of Connect One and three years of Connect Plus at no additional cost. Their unlimited-data Wi-Fi hotspot service will be offered for $12.99 per month, with a one-month free trial when activated within 30 days of purchase.<\/p>\n

Alfa Romeo buyers will receive 10 years of Connect One and three years of Connect Plus. They will also receive a three-month or 1-gigabyte data trial, with additional data available through AT&T.<\/p>\n

The 2027 Jeep Compass and Dodge Durango will continue using the SiriusXM Guardian platform. Those vehicles will include 10 years of Safety and Security and Vehicle Performance services, along with three-month trials for Assistance, Navigation, and data. Additional data will also be available through AT&T.<\/p>\n

Stellantis is also expanding the ways buyers can purchase SiriusXM service.<\/p>\n

Dealers can now order certain 2027 models with a three-year SiriusXM Extended Service subscription included in the vehicle\u2019s manufacturer\u2019s suggested retail price. Stellantis says bundling the service provides a discount and gives owners access in the vehicle and through the SiriusXM app.<\/p>\n

A second program, called FlexCare Sounds Powered by SiriusXM<\/a>, allows buyers to add a three-year subscription through the dealership\u2019s finance office for up to 75 days after the sale. It applies to vehicles not originally ordered with the extended subscription.<\/p>\n

Nearly every 2027 Stellantis vehicle sold in the United States is expected to include SiriusXM hardware and a three-month trial.<\/p>\n

Connected features have become a major part of the ownership experience, but consumers have also grown tired of paying monthly fees for functions already built into their vehicles. By moving app-based remote start into the 10-year Connect One plan, Stellantis is making one of its most useful features easier to access without adding another bill.<\/p>\n

The lower Wi-Fi Plus price gives families and frequent travelers a more affordable option for unlimited in-vehicle data, while buyers who only want basic remote and vehicle-health tools can continue using Connect One at no extra cost.<\/p>\n
