\n\tPARIS \u2014 LVMH Mo\u00ebt Hennessy Louis Vuitton<\/a> has promoted Yann Musquin to brand managing director of LVMH Fragrance<\/a> Brands, leading Parfums Givenchy<\/a> and Kenzo<\/a> Parfums, WWD has learned.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe will step into his new role on Aug. 3 and will report to V\u00e9ronique Courtois, chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and of LVMH\u2019s beauty division, according to an internal memo released on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tMusquin\u2019s appointment follows the departure of Romain Spitzer<\/a> for Bottega Veneta, and reflects the French luxury conglomerate\u2019s tradition of recruiting among its ranks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSpitzer had a broader remit, since he was not only CEO of LVMH Fragrance<\/a> Brands, but also president and CEO of Fragrance Group LVMH Beauty<\/a>, in addition to overseeing new ventures for the division.<\/p>\n

\n\tA graduate of HEC Paris business school, Musquin began his career at L\u2019Or\u00e9al in 2004 and joined Parfums Christian Dior in 2008.\u00a0He was named international fragrance marketing director in 2013, working on the launch of Sauvage, the bestselling fragrance in the world, and the development of Miss Dior and Collection Priv\u00e9e Christian Dior.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2021, the French executive was appointed fragrance and beauty director at Louis Vuitton, overseeing a ramp-up in its fragrance business and the creation of its makeup line. Since December 2024, he has been chief brand officer for Givenchy<\/a> Parfums and Beauty.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Musquin is charged with boosting the Givenchy and Kenzo<\/a> fragrance divisions, in addition to developing the LVMH brand portfolio with new fragrance and beauty additions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am convinced that his remarkable expertise in fragrances and the beauty world, his sense of excellence, and his creative vision will make it possible to strengthen the desirability of our Parfums Givenchy and Kenzo Parfums houses,\u201d Courtois said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
