Salahdine
\nParnasse<\/a> has officially been announced as one of the headliners
\nfor the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>‘s upcoming trip to Paris.Salahdine Parnasse finally enters the UFC after championship

\nDuring the
\nUFC Abu Dhabi<\/a> broadcast, the promotion revealed that the
\nhighly-touted prospect will take on Dan Hooker<\/a> at
\nUFC
\nParis<\/a>. A former
\nKonfrontacja Sztuk Walki<\/a> lightweight and two-time featherweight
\ntitleholder, Parnasse (23-2, 0-0 UFC) has long been regarded as one
\nof the best fighters outside the UFC. In his most recent outing,
\nunder the MVP MMA banner, he stopped Kenneth
\nCross<\/a> with punches at the 4:18 mark of the opening round.
\nParnasse is riding a five-fight winning streak, including a victory
\nover UFC veteran Marcin
\nHeld<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Octagon veteran Hooker (24-14, 14-10 UFC) looks to bounce back
\nafter consecutive losses to Benoit St.
\nDenis<\/a> and Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a>. On both occasions, “The Hangman\u201d has been finished
\nin Round 2, with elbows and punches by St. Denis and via
\narm-triangle choke by Tsarukyan. Before that skid, Hooker reeled
\noff three straight wins at the expense of Mateusz
\nGamrot<\/a>, Jalin
\nTurner<\/a> and Claudio
\nPuelles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UFC Paris, also known as UFC Fight Night 287, takes place at the
\nAccor Arena on Sept. 5. The card is also expected to feature a
\nfeatherweight tilt between Morgan
\nCharriere<\/a> and Felipe Lima<\/a>
\nand a welterweight clash between Michael
\nPage<\/a> and Nursulton
\nRuziboev<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n
