Al Roker<\/a>took a break from Today<\/a>over the past week and weekend, but for good reason.<\/p>\n

The TV star spent some time getting some rest from his demanding schedule, to unwind in Paris with his wife Deborah Roberts\u00a0<\/a>over the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Al returned to work on Tuesday, August 4 and has been back at his usual spot since.<\/p>\n

The journalist shared a heartwarming look into the couple’s romantic downtime overseas on social media.<\/p>\n

Al and Deborah went on a trip to Paris (Instagram)<\/p>\n

He captioned his sweet slideshow: “Two years ago, we were after the #2024parisolympics<\/a> and today we wrap up a visit to Paris two years later, as the Olympic Cauldron soars above the Jardin Tuileries.”<\/p>\n

The pair took in the scenic views while rocking athleisure for their first visit in 2024.<\/p>\n

Al donned a blue sweatsuit, gray shorts, black sneakers, a black cap and black sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Deborah was seen wearing a black sweatshirt with an illustration of a heart, black leggings and white and yellow sneakers.<\/p>\n

The pair returned to the popular park a second time two years later as Al noted, and he sported a gray Oswego t-shirt, gray shorts, black sneakers, and an orange cap.<\/p>\n

Deborah was seen wearing a gray t-shirt, white shorts with stripes, and navy blue sneakers.<\/p>\n

Fans loved seeing the duo explore together and flocked to the comments to cheer the pair on.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: “Oh what an incredible sight.” A second fan added: “Amazing moment.” A third follower commented: “Safe traveling Al and Deborah.”<\/p>\n

Al also shared another sweet moment from their trip which included a stop at a restaurant that he visited previously with their daughter Leila Roker.<\/p>\n

He captioned the post: “Leila and I stumbled upon @lafontainedemars<\/a> nine years ago when she moved here for what was supposed to be one year of college at @aupinstagram<\/a>. I knew that was not going to be the case. It has become a comfort food place for us.”<\/p>\n

The journalist continued: “Now, @leilaroker<\/a> is off, galivanting with her husband , @gricourt.thegreat<\/a> and their trusty sidekick, @clouseau<\/a>@debrobertsabc<\/a> and I enjoyed one last day in #paris<\/a> at a wonder haunt with fabulous memories.”<\/p>\n

Deborah lovingly commented: “So much fun galivanting with you.” Besides exploring the Parisian streets, Al also made sure to get in a good sweat session.<\/p>\n

The TV star went for a walk around the Eiffel Tower and he captioned his video: “A brisk walk on a beautiful #Paris<\/a>#saturdaymorning<\/a> Blue skies but a little scent of #widfiresmoke<\/a> carried on a gentle breeze.”<\/p>\n

In the clip he shared: “Today is a great day in Paris \u2013 beautiful. Temperatures are down, which is great\u2026Hope your weather is gorgeous wherever you are \u2013 whatever you need. I hope you get that weather today. In the meantime, have a good one and talk to you later.”<\/p>\n
