Celebrating 130 years of the monogram, the new bag takes inspiration from archival trunks<\/p>\n

Some motifs transcend the ebb and flow of fashion to permanently become part of its visual language. For Louis Vuitton, the monogram is one such emblem, which is instantly recognisable and deeply rooted in its history. Now, as it marks its 130th anniversary, the legacy house is giving the emblem a fresh interpretation with the launch of the \u2018Monogram Embl\u00e8me\u2019, a richly textured jacquard canvas that honours the past while embracing modern craftsmanship.The Monogram Embl\u00e8me\"Grazia\"

Honouring the motif, it takes inspiration from the original cotton canvases that once adorned the house\u2019s historic travel trunks. The new jacquard canvas is woven from a blend of GOTS-certified cotton and linen fibres, offering a unique texture that sets it apart from the house\u2019s classic coated canvas.The art of savoir-faire\"Grazia\"

Designed to be both durable and water-repellent, the material is finished with a dense pattern evoking the look of intricate embroidery and uses five differently coloured threads, adding deep tonal variations on the canvas.

Colour also plays a defining role here: Drawing from the Vuittonnier, the house\u2019s signature colour library, the new\u00a0canvas arrives in a palette inspired by Louis Vuitton\u2019s heritage. The Pre-Fall 2026 collection, now available in stores introduces two exclusive shades: Peuplier, a soft, warm beige tone inspired by the wooden structure of the house\u2019s trunks, and Rose Ruban, a soft pink that pays homage to the ribbon detailing once found on archival trunk designs.The setup\"Grazia\"<\/p>\n

The celebration continues later in the year with the introduction of two additional colourways in September 2026. Monogram Bleu revisits a shade documented in the house\u2019s 1930s archives, while Vert Jura takes inspiration from the lush landscape surrounding Louis Vuitton\u2019s native region in France.<\/p>\n

The new canvas will be introduced across many of the maison\u2019s most enduring silhouettes, including the \u2018Alma\u2019, \u2018Speedy\u2019, \u2018Neverfull\u2019, \u2018No\u00e9\u2019 and \u2018Keepall\u2019, alongside the \u2018Side Trunk\u2019, whose structured design pays tribute to Louis Vuitton\u2019s origins as a luggage maker.
