Paris Jackson gave rare insight into her childhood with her late father, Michael Jackson, in the latest \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d episode<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d wake up and I\u2019d go to \u2026 the room that was our classroom, and we would go to school,\u201d the 28-year-old told podcast listeners on Wednesday of her daily routine.<\/p>\n

Paris clarified that she \u201cdidn\u2019t grow up\u201d at Michael\u2019s Neverland Ranch amusement park but did spend \u201cthe first few years of [her] life\u201d there.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old described her daily routine on Neverland Ranch on \u201cCall Her Daddy.\u201d Call Her Daddy\/Youtube<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was made very, very clear that all of the attractions there were not for us \u2026 that did not belong to us,\u201d she noted. \u201cThat was for underprivileged children and children that were terminally ill that couldn\u2019t go to like Disneyland.\u201d<\/p>\n

She explained that the \u201ccool, very congruent line throughout [her] childhood that started there and continued\u201d was that if she and her siblings \u2014 Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24 \u2014 did their chores and homework, they could have fun on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The model recalled following this structure when they \u201chotel hopped a lot\u201d and \u201cwouldn\u2019t stay in one place for more than a year,\u201d going to Chuck E. Cheese or Circus Circus on the weekends.<\/p>\n

She added, \u201c[It was] the same thing with television. We weren\u2019t allowed to watch television or movies unless we were studying it for film with the sound off or on the weekends if we\u2019d done everything we were supposed to.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for wearing face masks during public outings to stay incognito, Paris insisted this \u201cmade sense\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201c[We were told], \u2018If you do this now, you can go to Chuck E. Cheese and be normal because no one will know who you are,’\u201d she explained, denying the practice was \u201cscary\u201d at all.<\/p>\n

When asked to describe her dad, who died in 2009 at age 50, Paris dubbed him a \u201creally funny guy that was [her] best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the interview, she referred to herself as the King of Pop\u2019s \u201clittle princess.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for navigating her grief after his passing, Paris called the loss \u201crough\u201d \u2014 and said that transition stage in her life was a \u201ccrash course in gaining social skills.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also spoke to host Alex Cooper about her recovery from drug addiction, noting that her current \u201cconsuming relationship [is] with tobacco\u201d since she is someone who has \u201cconstantly, historically reached outside of [her]self to find things to change or manage how [she\u2019s] feeling or thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress, notably, has been sober since \u201cthe first week of 2020\u201d<\/a> after hitting her \u201cbreaking point, rock bottom.\u201d<\/p>\n

She started to \u201creach for things outside of [her]self\u201d around 7 or 8 years old, and her substance abuse struggles began in eighth or ninth grade to combat feeling \u201crestless, irritable, discontented and not very comfortable in [her] own skin.\u201d<\/p>\n

That same year, she ended her engagement<\/a> to fianc\u00e9 Justin Long<\/a> \u2014 and told Cooper she did an \u201cuncomfortable \u2026 full-blown detox\u201d and \u201creset\u201d by avoiding flirting, \u201cprolonged eye contact [and] extended hugs\u201d post-split.<\/p>\n

Paris now has her \u201cpriorities straight\u201d and stressed that the last year has been the \u201cbest\u201d of her life.<\/p>\n
