Fans were treated to another sneak peek at Disneyland Paris\u2019 upcoming Lion King attraction at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event\u00a02026\u2019s Disney Experiences Showcase. \u00a0 The flume attraction will celebrate the music of the Lion King while witnessing Simba\u2019s journey from cub to king! \u00a0Here\u2019s what we learned:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nNew details revealed for first-ever Lion King attraction coming to Disneyland Paris<\/p>\n

As Saturday night\u2019s Disney Experiences Showcase, Imagineers Ali Rubenstein and Emily \u201cEmo\u201d O\u2019Brien\u00a0shared details on Disney\u2019s first-ever Lion King-themed attraction. \u00a0The new Lion King \u201cimmersive world\u201d is under construction now at Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris. \u00a0The immersive new area will sit alongside Adventure Bay, near the recently-opened World of Frozen. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Guests will be taken into the Pride Lands and experience the world from the 1994 Disney animated classic. \u00a0The Pride Lands will feature dining, shopping, and an all-new flume attraction. \u00a0 The 120-foot-tall Pride Rock will be home to the thrilling new musical attraction that will take guests on journey through Simba\u2018s life, from cub to king! \u00a0 Guests will enter the caves beneath Pride Rock and go on a journey that includes the iconic music from the film and memorable scenes featuring Audio Animatronics, special effects, and more!\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ride will include all of the highlights from Simba\u2019s life \u2014 the happy and the bad. \u00a0Below, new concept art shows a reimagining of the climactic battle between Simba and his evil Uncle Scar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the D23 show floor, the Imagineering pavilion gave a look at another scene in model form, as well as Rafiki\u2019s tree, and a maquette of the attraction\u2019s ride vehicle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
