The milestone vehicle was a P7+ sedan delivered to a 39-year-old generative AI expert.
\nXpeng entered France in May 2024, initially launching the G9 and G6 SUVs in the market.<\/p>\n

Xpeng<\/a> (NYSE: XPEV) has reached cumulative deliveries of 6,000 vehicles in France, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 6,000th customer took delivery of an Xpeng P7+<\/a> sedan. The owner, Pascal Delelis, is 39 years old and works as a generative AI expert.<\/p>\n

Delelis chose the P7+ after an extensive comparison, with its technology, comfort and driving enjoyment meeting all his expectations, Xpeng said on Weibo.<\/p>\n

From its first household customer to 6,000 owners in France, Xpeng has won trust through its technological capabilities, the company said.<\/p>\n

Xpeng entered the French market in May 2024<\/a>, initially launching the G9 flagship SUV (sport utility vehicle) and the G6 SUV, a rival to Tesla<\/a>‘s (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model Y.<\/p>\n

The P7+ has since become a key model in Xpeng’s overseas expansion. The sedan was launched in China on November 7, 2024<\/a>, after chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng first introduced it to European consumers at the Paris Motor Show in October 2024.<\/p>\n

Xpeng launched an updated P7+ in China on January 8 this year<\/a> and introduced it in Europe the following day, adding an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) option.<\/p>\n

The company said at the time that the updated P7+ would be launched in 36 countries and regions. The 2026 P7+ is already being produced at a plant in Graz, Austria<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Overseas markets have become a major growth driver for Xpeng. The company delivered 9,700 vehicles overseas in July, up 223.33% year-on-year and 28.77% from June, marking a monthly record in data compiled by CnEVPost.<\/p>\n

Overseas deliveries accounted for 25.51% of Xpeng’s total deliveries in July, the highest proportion on record.<\/p>\n

From January through July, Xpeng delivered 41,299 vehicles overseas, up 90.31% year-on-year and accounting for 20.24% of its total deliveries during the period.<\/p>\n

However, Xpeng’s overall sales are still recovering from a high base in 2025. The company delivered 38,027 vehicles in July, up 3.57% year-on-year but down 5.23% from June.<\/p>\n

From January through July, Xpeng delivered 204,004 vehicles globally, down 12.78% year-on-year.<\/p>\n

Xpeng now has more than 1,000 sales outlets worldwide, with an international presence spanning 60 countries and regions.<\/p>\n
