Managing a mix of legacy thermal assets, rehabilitation programmes and new energy developments requires operational discipline and a clear understanding of how different technologies contribute to system stability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNavigating a portfolio that spans thermal generation, rehabilitation and emerging energy projects requires a strong focus on execution and performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach asset plays a different role in the system, and the challenge is to ensure they operate reliably while supporting the transition to a lower-carbon energy mix over time,\u201d says Chetty.<\/p>\n<p>Further, the decision to appoint Chetty reflects the company&#8217;s broader approach to developing leadership across markets and deploying experienced operators into roles where delivery and performance are critical.<\/p>\n<p>Its global footprint enables it to transfer capabilities between regions, particularly in markets undergoing a structural energy transition.<\/p>\n<p>Her appointment underscores ENGIE&#8217;s focus on building leadership capacity to operate across technologies, geographies and market structures while maintaining consistent standards of performance, safety and delivery, it says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNiroshma brings a combination of financial, operational and strategic experience that is directly relevant to the Australian portfolio.
