Credit: Rune Borre-Jensen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">Thales and Systematic have established a strategic partnership aimed at delivering advanced, interoperable air defence solutions to the Danish Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<p>The companies announced their collaboration during the ongoing DALO Industry Days defence exhibition in Herning, Denmark.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.army-technology.com\/wp-content\/themes\/goodlife-wp-B2B\/assets\/img\/globaldata_marketing_solutions_logo.svg\" alt=\"\"\/> Discover B2B Marketing That Performs <\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tCombine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldatamarketingsolutions.com\/\" class=\"gms-find-out-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFind out more <\/a><\/p>\n<p>This collaboration will bring together Thales\u2019 air defence systems, including the SAMP\/T NG platform, with Systematic\u2019s expertise in command-and-control (C2) software.<\/p>\n<p>In a joint statement, the companies said this integration is expected to improve coordination between existing and future Danish air defence systems, with a focus on supporting the country\u2019s Air C2 and Surface-Based Air Missile Defence (SBAMD) requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership is intended to enhance local industrial capabilities, contributing to long-term economic opportunities and potential future exports.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the alliance highlights an increasing emphasis on European industrial cooperation to provide sovereign defence solutions that address both national and allied needs.<\/p>\n<p>Thales\u2019 integrated airspace protection systems general manager, Rapha\u00ebl Desi, stated: \u201cOur collaboration with Systematic ensures that Denmark benefits from a sovereign, interoperable system that leverages the best of European innovation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis agreement is a testament to Thales\u2019 ability to align strategic programmes like SBAMD with local industrial strengths, creating a model for future defence cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Thales and Systematic stated they will work closely with the Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to deliver an integrated air defence solution capable of supporting Denmark\u2019s defence priorities and furthering interoperability with Nato allies.<\/p>\n<p>Systematic business development vice president Klaus Qvist said: \u201cThis partnership is an important step to strengthen Denmark\u2019s air defence capabilities with trusted European technology, while building on the strong industrial capabilities we have developed here in Denmark.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The alliance follows Systematic\u2019s continued expansion in the defence technology sector.
