Chopra added that any partnership would likely hinge on how much of France\u2019s most sensitive technology Paris is willing to share. \u201cAt the moment India is engaged in exploratory discussions with France. We will want industrial workshare, but engine and radar technologies will have to come from French companies,\u201d he said. \u201cFrance seems to be more open to sharing technology.\u201d<\/p>\n

Discussions between the two countries are expected to focus on industrial workshare, design and development responsibilities, and the extent of intellectual property access India would be granted.
