Lacey Chabert has an update on the idea to have a Hallmark musical set in the South on Easter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got asked that question so many times afterwards. \u2018Do you really want to do an Easter Southern musical?\u2019 That was kind of a joke, but sure!\u201d Chabert told PauseRewind\u2019s Elizabeth Stanton at the finale premiere for \u201cParis is Always a Good Idea.\u201d<\/p>\n

But is it happening?<\/p>\n

\u201cI can’t tell you. Mum’s the word,\u201d she teased, before quickly clarifying, \u201cNo, there hasn’t been.\u201d<\/p>\n

The musical isn\u2019t in the works, but there could be a cooking show. Chabert recently displayed her skills in the kitchen making a cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e<\/a>, on theme with the finale for her Hallmark limited series \u201cParis is Always a Good Idea\u201d is airing tonight.<\/p>\n

But Chabert\u2019s cooking specialties aren\u2019t specifically French.<\/p>\n

When asked what she would focus on if she had a cooking show, Chabert replied, \u201cAll Southern food. I’m from Mississippi. My dad’s from Louisiana, so I grew up eating the most delicious Cajun food, and my mom makes the most incredible Southern dishes. You know, so yeah, something definitely with a focus on Southern food.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for the \u201cParis is Always a Good Idea\u201d finale, Chabert is excited for fans to find out how the story of Chelsea, who revisits three past loves while traveling Europe, ends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it’s a really great ending. All of the stories really get questions get answered,\u201d Chabert said. \u201cThe stories are final and beautiful, and I just loved the journey of this story so much. It was romantic. We had to go to so many beautiful places. The family relationships I thought were really beautiful, and you know, it was what Hallmark does best. It’s always so heartfelt, and I was I just enjoyed playing Chelsea so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chabert\u2019s co-star and love interest in the series Scott Michael Foster also thinks fans will be excited for the ending, even if he\u2019s not certain of what happens.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh boy, I’m so not prepared for this. I am still catching up on the show. I mean, I know the show because I’ve shot it months ago, and I’m afraid I’m going to give anything away. So all I can say is tune in. I loved how it ends. I think it’s our writers did a really good job. I’ve said that a lot before, but it really is true that they did a great job adapting the story. And I think fans are going to get more than they expect and everything they want, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foster had his own romantic European getaway with his recent wedding to Carson Fagerbakke in England<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was awesome. It went off without a hitch. It was beautiful. So we couldn’t be happier,\u201d Foster said, happily flashing his wedding ring for the camera.<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cWe had such a good time. Like literally, knock on wood, it was just one of those things where you hope it goes well, and like everything went as good as it could have gone. So yeah, [we\u2019re] truly happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foster previously told PauseRewind his plans to have a coffee cart at the wedding reception and according to the groom, it was the perfect addition.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone said [it was a] big hit. Everyone was like, \u2018Oh, it was perfect\u2019 because the minute you have a little bit of a lull, you go to the coffee cart, you get yourself a latte, and then you hit the dance floor, and you’re ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cParis is Always a Good Idea\u201d finale airs tonight on Hallmark+.<\/p>\n
