C\u00e9line Dion stepped out in Paris wearing a leather gown by Loewe<\/p>\n

The singer is gearing up for her five-week residency in the French capital this fall<\/p>\n

The residency marks Dion’s first major performances since announcing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in December 2022<\/p>\n

C\u00e9line Dion<\/a> is hitting the streets of Paris in style.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Sept. 1, the singer, 58, stepped out in the French capital wearing a black gown with a loose-fitting leather bodice and asymmetrical hemline with shearling trim. The ensemble was identified by Red Carpet Fashion Awards<\/a> as a Loewe piece from the fashion house’s fall 2026 collection.<\/p>\n

Dion teamed the dress with black heels and a black handbag, wearing her hair in a sleek updo. The Grammy winner looked cheerful as she waved to fans while exiting her hotel.<\/p>\n

The star is set to play 16 shows at La D\u00e9fense Arena between September and October 2026.<\/p>\n

In a video message to fans shared for her birthday, Dion gave an update on her health, and said the chance to perform again<\/a> was “the best gift of my life.”<\/p>\n

“I want to let you know that I’m doing great. I’m managing my health, I’m feeling good, I’m singing again. I’ve been doing a little bit of dancing, obviously,” she said. “This year, I’m getting the best gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you, once again in Paris, beginning in September this year. I’m so happy. I’m so ready to do this. I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously. Of course a little nervous, but most of all I am grateful to all of you.”<\/p>\n

She concluded, “I can’t wait to see you again.”<\/p>\n

Dion performed for the first time post-diagnosis in 2024 at the base of the Eiffel Tower as part of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony<\/a>. She performed again a few months later at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab fashion show<\/a> in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

In April, Dion released her first original song in years<\/a>, titled “Dansons,” which translates to “Let’s Dance.”<\/p>\n

The French-language track, written by her longtime collaborator Jean-Jacques Goldman, is a piano ballad that’s classic Dion and showcases her powerhouse vocals.<\/p>\n
