The carrier will also introduce Rate Restoration Initiatives (RRI) and Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) on other trades.<\/p>\n<p>New FAK rates from East Coast South America<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"562\">CMA CGM will apply new FAK rates from Brazil, excluding Northeast Brazil, as well as Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"692\">The rates cover dry cargo moving to North Europe, the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Adriatic, North Africa, Middle East and Red Sea.<\/p>\n<p>Destination<br \/>\n20\u2032<br \/>\n40\u2019\/40\u2019HC<\/p>\n<p>North Europe<br \/>\nUS$2,165<br \/>\nUS$2,680<\/p>\n<p>West Mediterranean<br \/>\nUS$2,465<br \/>\nUS$3,280<\/p>\n<p>East Mediterranean<br \/>\nUS$3,215<br \/>\nUS$4,030<\/p>\n<p>Black Sea<br \/>\nUS$2,715<br \/>\nUS$3,530<\/p>\n<p>Adriatic<br \/>\nUS$2,765<br \/>\nUS$3,780<\/p>\n<p>North Africa<br \/>\nUS$1,965<br \/>\nUS$2,230<\/p>\n<p>Middle East<br \/>\nUS$7,230<br \/>\nUS$7,660<\/p>\n<p>Red Sea<br \/>\nUS$4,365<br \/>\nUS$4,930<\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1155\">The rates include basic freight, bunker-related surcharges, EU ETS and Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSS).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1300\">However, terminal handling charges and safety and security-related surcharges may apply. Other local and contingency charges may also be added.<\/p>\n<p>Rate restoration for US and Canada trades<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1348\" data-end=\"1452\">The French carrier will also introduce updated Rate Restoration Initiatives from the West Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1658\">For cargo from West Mediterranean ports and Morocco to the United States, CMA CGM will apply an RRI of US$250 per 20-foot container and US$500 per 40-foot, 40-foot high-cube and 45-foot container.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"1723\">The measure applies to all cargo except out-of-gauge shipments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1725\" data-end=\"1878\">CMA CGM will apply the same amounts from West Mediterranean ports to Canada. The Canadian scope includes Italy, Mediterranean Spain and Vigo, and France.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"1919\">Both measures take effect on 1 October.<\/p>\n<p>PSS introduced on Latin American trades<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1965\" data-end=\"2084\">CMA CGM will also apply new Peak Season Surcharges from Europe and the Mediterranean to several Latin American markets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2228\">From North Europe, including Scandinavia and the Baltic, to the West Coast of South America, the PSS will be \u20ac300 or US$350 per container.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2230\" data-end=\"2328\">From the East Mediterranean, Adriatic and Black Sea, CMA CGM will charge US$300 per container.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2330\" data-end=\"2466\">This applies to several destinations, including the West Coast of South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico\u2019s West Coast.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2468\" data-end=\"2577\">From the West Mediterranean, the PSS will be \u20ac200 or US$230 per container for the specified destinations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2579\" data-end=\"2689\">The PSS measures apply to dry cargo under quarterly or shorter-term deals from 1 October until further notice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CMA CGM FIORDLAND, Source: VesselFinder CMA CGM has announced a series of freight rate and surcharge changes across&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":17539,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13062],"tags":[2213],"class_list":["post-75182","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-cma-cgm","tag-cma-cgm"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/75182","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=75182"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/75182\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/17539"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=75182"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=75182"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=75182"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
