So is lunch. But this time with Daniel Boulud overseeing the menu.<\/p>\n<p>Christened Blue Box Cafe by Daniel Boulud, the revamped concept is now open in the suite space connected to Tiffany &amp; Co.\u2019s redesigned Costa Mesa flagship. It marks the first California restaurant for Boulud\u2019s Dinex Group, following his Blue Box Cafe at The Landmark, Tiffany\u2019s Fifth Avenue shop in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>Hungry? Tiffany unveiled a 48-seat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2021\/05\/13\/review-the-blue-box-cafe-delivers-a-uniquely-tiffany-lunch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Blue Box Cafe at South Coast Plaza in late 2020<\/a>, initially limiting it to takeout due to pandemic-related restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Leaning into the famous Truman Capote book and film, one notable offering is the Breakfast at Tiffany\u2019s ($72), which comes with a two-tier tower featuring a croissant, apricot danish, French butter cake, carpaccio de melon, eggs and caviar, plus your choice of juice, including the Green Golightly named after the book\u2019s heroine.<\/p>\n<p>ALSO READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2026\/09\/04\/5-upcoming-orange-county-restaurants-to-put-on-your-radar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">5 upcoming Orange County restaurants to put on your radar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Holly\u2019s Favorites ($35) comes with croissant and a madeleine, butter and jam, fruit juice and coffee, tea or hot chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>Tea at Tiffany\u2019s ($98), its afternoon tea service, comes with such tea sandwiches as egg and watercress, lobster roll, smoked salmon \u201cbagel,\u201d chicken curry and cucumber, dill and cream cheese.<\/p>\n<p>The all-day a la carte menu includes chilled avocado-cucumber gazpacho ($26), grilled red king salmon ($46), chicken with maitake mushrooms and truffle jus ($38) and filet mignon ($62). Spaghettini au caviar pairs lemon-glazed pasta with Ossetra caviar ($56).<\/p>\n<p>And for the meat-and-potatoes kind of diner, there\u2019s a cheeseburger and fries ($34).<\/p>\n<p>Boulud designed the menu and attached his name to the project. The French chef is noted for being the executive chef at Le Cirque during its halcyon days from 1986 to 1992, as well as for his eponymous spot, Daniel, which currently hold a one-star rating from the Michelin Guide.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the luxury jewelry house\u2019s second Blue Box Cafe, with its Manhattan location, the first.
