{"id":8428,"date":"2026-04-23T06:16:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T06:16:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/8428\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T06:16:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T06:16:36","slug":"france-lacks-capacity-to-absorb-crises-senate-president-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/8428\/","title":{"rendered":"France Lacks Capacity to Absorb Crises: Senate President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islamtimes.com\/en\/news\/1276253\/france-lacks-capacity-to-absorb-crises-senate-president\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/n01276253-b.jpg\" alt=\"France Lacks Capacity to Absorb Crises: Senate President\" title=\"France Lacks Capacity to Absorb Crises: Senate President\" class=\"img-responsive\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            Islam Times &#8211; France \u201cdoes not have the means to absorb crises and to cope,\u201d the Senate president said on Wednesday, linking current economic pressure to the impact of the war in the Middle East.\u201cOver-indebted and overtaxed,\u201d France is no longer in a position to absorb shocks, Gerard Larcher told broadcaster BFM TV.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe truth must be told to the French,\u201d he said, adding that current difficulties reflect decisions taken over the past decade, Anadolu Agency reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are paying for the lack of decisions over the past ten years.
