The airy abode is certainly a departure from the top-floor unit where Emily takes place. \u201cEmily\u2019s apartment was inspired by the chambre de bonne, the maids\u2019 rooms<\/a> that were on the very top floors of Parisian buildings that still exist,\u201d series creator Darren Star explained in a 2024 Architectural Digest tour of the show\u2019s sets<\/a>. \u201cThey have great views.
