A 45-year-old man has been jailed for his part in an Exeter drugs supply operation. Wayne Pope was given a prison sentence of five years and 219 days at Exeter Crown Court.
Pope, of Minehead in Somerset, admitted supplying cocaine over a period of seven months.
This is a list of 21 men and woman sentenced at court. They include a prolific shoplifter from Barnstaple, a man who assaulted police in Exeter and drug drivers from across the region.
Most were dealt with by community punishments and fines but some are now in prison. All the defendants appeared at magistrates and the crown court between September 24 and 29.

CORY ALLSFORD, Lethaby Road, Barnstaple. Age: 30. On 02/05/2026 at Barnstaple stole clothing worth £500 belonging to Go Outdoors. Further thefts from Boots, M&S, Sports Direct, Asda. Plea: Guilty. Prison for 22 weeks.
TONY SIMMONS, Watkins Way, Bideford. Age: 58. Between 02/05/2025 and 20/05/2025 at Bideford stalking a female. Plea: Not Guilty. Verdict: Guilty. Community order for 12 months. Restraining order and rehabilitation activity.
THOMAS KARSLAKE, West Yelland, Barnstaple. Age: 29. On 06/02/2024 at Devon inflict GBH on a female. Plea: Guilty. Community order 12 months. Compensation £1,250.
DALE STARR, Sandes Place, Leatherhead. Age: 32. On 24/09/2026 at Barnstaple harassment – breach of a restraining order. Plea: Guilty. 10 months in prison. Committed three months after a suspended sentence imposed.
MAKORE TAYLOR, High street, Combe Martin. Age: 30. On 16/02/2026 at Combe Martin drug driving on High Street (THC). Plea: Guilty. Disqualified for 12 months. Fine £120.
ROCCO LETHABY, NFA, Exeter. Age: 19. On 25/10/2024 at Ilfracombe assaulted a male by beating. Plea: Guilty. Community order for 12 months. Compensation £500.
PHILLIP STEVENS, Daccabridge Road, Kingskerswell. Age: 48. On 30/07/2026 at Newton Abbot drink driving on Marsh Road (76mg in 100ml of breath). Drive while disqualified. Plea: Guilty. Community order for 12 months. Alcohol monitoring for 120 days. Unpaid work for 250 hours. Disqualified from driving for 64 months.
TAYLOR JAMES, Haven Road, Exeter. Age: 31. On 27/09/2026 at Exeter assaulted a constable in the execution of her duty. Plea: Guilty. Conditional discharge for six months. Compensation £100.
ABDURAHMEN KASSIM, Green Lane Road, Leicester. Age: 27. On 24/02/2026 at Exeter drug driving (cannabis). Plea: Guilty. Disqualified for 12 months. Fine £276.
MOHAMMED SOHAIL, Poppin Court, Exeter. Age: 29. On 29/08/2026 at Exeter drink driving Newcourt Way (85mg in 100ml breath). Plea: Guilty. Disqualified for 17 months. Fine £415.
CLAIRE JEFFERY, Newman Road, Exeter. Age: 37. On 16/03/2026 at Exeter drug driving (BZE). Plea: Guilty. Disqualified for 16 months. Fine £80.
