Travellers have been issued a warning as several Southeastern trains are set to be hit with disruption this weekend.

Passengers have been urged to plan ahead following a series of announced cancellations, diversions and buses replacements.

This is due to engineering work that will take place on Sunday (August 16) only. We have broken down the details for you to plan ahead.

Sunday (August 16):

Engineering work is taking place between St Johns, Hither Green, and Dartford, closing all lines.

Trains between London Charing Cross, Ramsgate, and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will be diverted to run to and from London Victoria.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will run to and from London Bridge and are diverted via an alternative route between London Bridge and Orpington.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will run to and from London Victoria and will run non-stop between London Victoria and Petts Wood by an alternative route.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will run to and from London Victoria and will be diverted between Lewisham and Dartford, calling at all stations via Bexleyheath.

Trains will run between Sidcup and Dartford.

Replacement buses will run between Greenwich and Sidcup, and Lewisham and Orpington.

New Cross, St Johns, Hither Green, Grove Park, Elmstead Woods, Chislehurst, Lee, Mottingham, and New Eltham stations will be closed.
