Even though it may seem that not a single day can go by without us writing about a Mercedes G-Wagen, we promise you we do not get an eye twitching if we don’t. Or that’s what we want to believe, anyway, as between us, the this ultra-cool premium truck gets plenty of coverage on our website.

It’s often due to various reasons, though most of the time, different examples that have been visited by the tuning fairy catch our attention. Well, these and the ones that are searching for new homes on the World Wide Web, and sometimes, we tend to mix the two. Just like we did this time, as the Brabus-tuned example you see above is for sale in the United States of America, and you may want to take a closer look at it, especially if you plan on sprucing up your life with one of these.

Quite strangely, the vendor, @kenan.mcc on Instagram, did not say anything about the Brabus tuning job. In fact, they do not know that it’s no longer called the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG, but the Mercedes-AMG G 63, as the Affalterbach sub-brand has been better integrated into the three-pointed star company since the new-age G-Wagen premiered. But the large B on the new grille definitely gives it out, and so other Brabus logos here and there, as well as the tuner’s name that is visible on the front license plate.

From what we can tell, the front bumper has been changed with an entirely new one, which features redesigned air intakes, and an apron on the lower part. It also has extra daytime running lights, with two light strips being visible above and below the side vents on each side of the front bumper. The lighting units appear to have been tinted, and this also applies to the turn signals. We already told you that the grille is new, and it retains the familiar Panamericana styling, albeit with a new pattern.

Another novelty is the hood, or, better said, the bulge in the center, which makes this vehicle a lot more aggressive. The fender flares also came from the aftermarket world, and so did the side steps, from what we can tell, and the exhaust pipe trim in front of the rear wheels. The spare wheel holder is missing from the rear, and here, we can see a new bumper with an integrated diffuser, and a roof-mounted wing, as well as custom trim that displays the tuner’s logo.

This Mercedes-AMG G 63 features a sand-like finish on the outside, contrasted by the multiple black elements, including the extras, and the door mirror casings, and the roof. The wheels are also new, and they are significantly larger than the OEM ones. The ground clearance does not seem to have been altered during the tuning job, though you may want to refrain from quoting us on that, as we are not entirely certain.

On the inside, the G-Wagen in question may appear stock, but we can see some Brabus logos on the seatbacks, so the bi-tone leather upholstery, mixing black and white, could be new, just like the white stitching, and other parts of the interior. Again, you may want to refrain from quoting us on this, too, as that’s just our two cents, and we shouldn’t forget the Manufaktur, aka Mercedes’ customization division, offers plenty of options for the Mercedes-AMG G 63 (and not only).

There is no reference to the powertrain, but we all know that Brabus has plenty of power options on its shelves for the Mercedes-AMG G 63. However, since the vendor hasn’t mentioned the oily bits at all, we are not entirely certain just how much power we are looking at. With zero mods, the 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 produces 577 hp (585 ps.430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque in this model. It enables 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 4.3 seconds, and the top speed is capped at 137 mph (220 kph), or 149 mph (240 kph), depending on the options.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 pictured above is a 2023 model year, as mentioned in the title, and at the time of cataloging, it had 13,941 miles (22,436 km) on the clock. The used car dealer behind the ad says it accepts trade-ins, offers financing, and encourages interested parties to reach out to them on social media, either by dropping a comment, or sending a direct message.

But how much does this widebody Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG G 63 from the 2023 model year, with almost 14,000 miles under its belt, cost? Unless you said $239,995, then you are wrong, as this was the asking price at the time of writing. But would you pay $240K on this machine, or would you rather get a brand new G 63 from $198,750, which is the MSRP of the 2027 model year in the United States of America?
