A Drake show in that room without an electronic music gesture would have been a missed opportunity. Pairing the room with the city’s most globally recognised dance music collective made full sense.

Clips of Rampa cutting Drake acapellas over hypnotic beats are circulating across Instagram, with fans calling it a rare bridge between mainstream hip-hop and underground electronic culture. Plus, the response confirms what producers have known for a few years: the Drake catalogue translates well to the dancefloor.
