Guinness World Record holder and global adventurer Rainer Zietlow brought the Volkswagen ID. Buzz World Tour to the Giti Tire manufacturing plant in Richburg, South Carolina. He met with employees and shared stories from his journey across six continents on Giti tires.
Zietlow’s stop at the Richburg facility connected the global EV trip with the people and technology behind Giti tires. During the visit, he toured portions of the plant, greeted associates, and delivered remarks highlighting the importance of reliability, efficiency, safety and trust while driving thousands of miles through varying road and weather conditions around the world.
The Richburg facility, which includes a research and development center, produces tires for U.S. driving conditions.
Giti Supplies Tires to Volkswagen ID. Buzz Production
Giti Tire’s relationship with Volkswagen includes working with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles on the direct delivery of tires to the production line of the ID. Buzz in Hanover, Germany.
