Two national soccer teams will call the Triad home as they prepare for this summer’s FIFA World Cup in North America, bringing international attention and an expected economic boost to the region.

Local leaders said Tuesday that Norway will practice in Greensboro and Germany will base in Winston-Salem ahead of the tournament.
