A young Aussie couple have shared a “genius” camping recommendation they found in Aldi.

Tae Hoffman, 25, and Jeseka Atley, 22, enjoy camping on weekends and hope to complete a lap around Australia in the future.

It’s a long weekend for millions of Australians, with the King’s Birthday public holiday on Monday, and many may be thinking of an outdoor adventure too.

The Gold Coast couple told Yahoo Lifestyle they found the game-changing $30 4WD Tyre Table when they dropped intoan Aldi before a camping weekend last month.

Unlike a standard table, the camping product only has two legs and hooks over any tyre on your car for stability on any surface.

“The legs can both be adjusted individually to level out the table,” the pair said.

“It is made of a mesh metal which lets water and rain through, it cleans super easily and hooks over the tyre on your car to keep your campsite nice and compact.”

The pair said it’s also “perfect for cooking on”, is “super lightweight” and “packs away really small”.

“You are sort of restricted to the height of your tyre, but most camp tables are at a set height anyway,” the couple said.

Photos shared with Yahoo Lifestyle showed the table is sturdy enough to hold a small Weber barbecue.

Tae and Jeseka said the affordable product is now packed with their camping gear for every trip and has become an essential.

“1,000 per cent recommend, we love it,” they said.

The pair was so impressed with the product that they made a TikTok video demonstrating how it worked.

Hundreds were impressed by how well it worked, and many wanted to buy one of the “awesome” products for themselves.

“I’m going to get one of these,” one wrote.

“Omg needed … Aldi for the win,” added another.

However, the 4WD Tyre Table was available through Aldi’s weekly Special Buys.

A spokesperson for Aldi told Yahoo Lifestyle the table was “available only while stocks lasted”.

“ALDI’s camping Special Buys are always popular with customers looking to gear up for an outdoor adventure without stretching the budget,” they said.

“While this item is no longer available, customers can keep an eye out for future Special Buys, with new products arriving in stores every week.”
