Apple has announced the opening of its first Developer Center in Europe, located in Berlin, Germany, marking a significant expansion of its global developer ecosystem.
The company’s initiative aims to strengthen relationships with app creators and support innovation across the region. The facility, situated in Berlin’s Mitte district, is expected to open later this year and will complement existing developer hubs in Cupertino, Bengaluru, Shanghai, and Singapore.

The new Berlin center will provide developers with hands-on access to Apple’s ecosystem, offering workshops across platforms such as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

In-Person Support and Developer Training
Apple’s investment in Berlin complements its broader European developer initiatives, including the Apple Developer Academy in Naples, Italy, and the Apple Foundation Programs in Italy and France. These programs aim to nurture new talent and prepare aspiring developers for careers in software development and digital innovation.
According to GSMArena, the company also continues to support small businesses through the App Store Small Business Program, which reduces commission rates for eligible developers earning under $1 million annually.
