It’s the time again. The FIFA World Cup is almost here, and though Spurs fans are locked into the action in the evenings, futbol can take up your daytime sports viewing. On Saturday, June 6, you can nurse your honking hangover (fingers crossed) by watching the US Men’s National Team (USMNT) take on Germany in a pre-World Cup friendly.

The game takes place at 1:30 p.m. in Chicago’s Soldier Field, and you can stream it on TBS, HBO Max, Peacock.

If you’re hoping to take in the action with fellow soccer aficionados, several San Antonio spots are firing up their screens for this friendly. Here’s a list of places to watch the game in San Antonio.

Michelob Ultra and Anheuser-Busch are partnering with Pearl for a watch party, and one lucky fan will get a chance to win tickets to the FIFA World Cup. Stop by at 11 a.m. for a soccer shootout challenge at the Parkito near Local Coffee, meet professional soccer player Marco Fabian, and take in all the pre-World Cup energy. The ticket giveaway will be announced at 1, followed by the USMNT vs Germany watch party at Pearl Park at 1:30 p.m

The San Antonio American Outlaws Chapter is preparing for a bigger crowd as the host team takes on Germany. The organization’s home bar The Cottage will screen the game with family-friendly vibes, but a larger turnout means they’ll need a larger venue to accommodate the growing fandom. The Summer of Soccer kicks off at Little Woodrow’s at 1:30 p.m. Expect to watch USMNT matches during the FIFA World Cup there as well.
