Discover Airlines took off for the first time from Frankfurt to Brindisi in Italy on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 08:05 a.m. The almost fully booked Airbus A320 with flight number 4Y806 landed on time at Brindisi Airport (BDS) after a flight time of around two hours. Guests and crew were warmly welcomed upon arrival.
From June through the end of October, the leisure airline will offer two weekly direct flights to Brindisi, every Monday and Friday, providing the only direct connection between Frankfurt and the city in southern Italy. At the same time, Brindisi expands the airline’s Italy portfolio to a second destination alongside Bari. Both destinations are located in the southern Italian region of Puglia, known as the “heel” of the Italian boot.
