A Tuscaloosa family is celebrating a major milestone as Habitat for Humanity and Mercedes-Benz U.S. International dedicated a new home for Sheila Nevins and her daughter Arielle. The home, which is the 13th Habitat house sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, was built with the help of employee volunteers. Nevins, who worked as a Habitat construction supervisor, also contributed to building the house. “The feeling that I get when we dedicate a new home is one of the most wonderful things. I’ve been doing this for 13 years and it still gets me every time because it changes a family’s future moving forward for generations to come,” a Habitat representative said.
