Nord Holding is investing in the VisionmaxX Group, the leading managed service provider (MSP) for IT services in German Austrian medical practices with a focus on the dental sector. Nord Holding and the founders, Steffen Konrad and Jens Schlerf, want to develop the VisionmaxX Group into the central digital IT infrastructure platform for outpatient healthcare in the DACH region with Nord Holding.
“VisionmaxX is exactly the kind of company in which Nord Holding invests: a truly innovative quality company with clear market leadership, a well-rehearsed, visionary founding team and a market that is structurally growing,” said Mario Sabljo, partner at Nord Holding.
Founded in 2004, VisionmaxX offers a comprehensive portfolio of IT infrastructure, telematics, IT security and digital practical solutions. With its sister company VisionCare, the group is also active in the care sector. VisionmaxX employs about 150 people.
“We built VisionmaxX because we are convinced that doctors need a partner to whom they can fully entrust their IT – so that they can focus on their patients,” said Schlerf. “With Nord Holding, we now have the support to carry this vision to the entire outpatient healthcare system.”
On behalf of Nord Holding, the transaction was supported by Sabljo, Dominik Bronstering, Kim Martin Steinbart and Moritz Hagenmeyer. The fund is managed by NordVest GmbH, Hannover, acting as AIFM.
WMCF (Florian Sebastiao Schmidt, Ulf Boenicke, Jan-Niklas B., Till Schultheis, and Alexej Koslov) was buyside advisor in the acquisition process.
