Summer is officially here, and that means it’s time for hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, and, most importantly: ice cream.

Ice cream is the perfect summer treat because it’s not only delicious, it’s a refreshing way to cool down after a long day in the sun. Brands like Blue Bell are bringing beloved flavors back to the freezer aisle. And brands like Alden’s, Breyers, and even Dolly Parton, are introducing all-new frozen treats.

While there’s a lot of ice cream to choose from, Aldi may have the must-try product of the season. The German grocery chain’s new freezer find combines two classic summer treats, lemonade and ice cream, and fans are rushing to stock up.

Summer isn’t complete without ice cream and lemon-flavored desserts, which is why Aldi’s new addition to its freezer section is so popular. The new Sundae Shoppe Lemon Ice Cream Sandwiches, in partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand, feature lemon ice cream and flower-shaped, lemon-flavored cookies. They’re a sweet, zesty, refreshing dessert that have already won shoppers over after the first bite.

Sundae Shoppe is a popular Aldi brand, from its new Birthday Cake Gelato to the fan-favorite Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches. But it seems like these new Lemon Ice Cream Sandwiches are inching closer to the top of the list for many shoppers.

Fans have gathered on Reddit to discuss just how good the new ice cream sandwiches are—and it’s safe to say that these are a hit.

“Man, I accidentally ate the whole box in one night LOL,” one Redditor said. Another wrote, “These are so good, I wanna buy every box from the store.”

Someone else chimed in with, “It’s what lemon dreams are made of.”

The Sundae Shoppe Lemon Ice Cream Sandwiches are now available at Aldi locations nationwide. They are sold in a four-pack box and cost $4.49. Based on early customer reviews, I wouldn’t wait too long to snag a box (or five) of these frozen treats, as shoppers are already stocking up for summer.
