Yokohama Rubber has begun supplying Advan Sport EV tires as original equipment (OE) to Porsche AG for the fully electric Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric SUVs. Porsche launched the vehicles worldwide in November 2025.
The OE tire sizes are 255/55R20 110Y for the front and 305/45R20 116Y for the rear. Porsche continues to sell the previous-generation gasoline and hybrid Cayenne models alongside the new electric versions.
Yokohama Advan Sport EV Tires Carry E+ Marking
Yokohama based the Advan Sport EV on its Advan Sport V107. The company developed the summer tire for electrified vehicles to support low energy consumption and reduced cabin noise.
The sidewall carries Yokohama’s “E+” mark, which indicates suitability for electrified vehicles. Yokohama co-developed the tire with Porsche and uses a special compound that maintains low rolling resistance while balancing dry and wet grip.
The tire earned the EU labeling system’s highest “A” grade for wet performance. Yokohama designed the optimized belt structure to enhance handling stability. The sidewall also bears the “NG0” mark, which indicates Porsche approval.
Yokohama Notes Porsche OE History
Yokohama first obtained Porsche’s technical approval in 1988. Since Porsche installed the Yokohama A-008P on the 911, Yokohama has supplied OE tires for the Cayman, Boxster, Cayenne and Panamera.
For the Cayenne, Yokohama has used the Advan brand from the first generation through the current fourth generation. Porsche also uses the all-season Advan Sport EV A/S V35 on the new Cayenne.
