Joe Kirt enters his fifth season as head coach for Tennessee women’s soccer. He has compiled a 41-24-13 (19-12-9 SEC) record and appeared in the NCAA Tournament every season.
2026 will mark the Lady Vols’ first season with Adidas under Kirt. Tennessee and Adidas became partners on July 1. Adidas serves as the official footwear, uniform, apparel and sideline partner of Tennessee athletics.
“We are incredibly excited about our partnership with Adidas, which has been at the pinnacle of global soccer for years,” Kirt said. “It’s even better to officially partner with Adidas while they help sponsor and host the World Cup here in North America. I am thrilled for our players to have the premier global brand now outfitting Tennessee!”
In Nov. 2025, Kirt received a contract extension through the 2030 season.
“Joe has established an exceptional culture and has positioned our soccer program to continue its pursuit of of championships,” Tennessee vice chancellor and director of athletics Danny White said. “Given our success both on and off the pitch under his remarkable leadership, we are thrilled to have him continue leading our soccer program here on Rocky Top.”
