Mercedes-Benz India has announced a series of changes within its sales and marketing function, effective September 1, 2026.
As part of the changes, Nandita Godbole, currently general manager, digital customer unit, will take over as head of marketing. She succeeds Amrit Baid, who will move to the role of general manager, retail finance and pre-owned cars.
Jamsheed Bhadha, currently general manager, product planning and sales planning, will move to a new role with Mercedes-Benz in Dubai. He will be succeeded by Sanjay Kochar, who currently serves as general manager, TEV and BEV sales.

Godbole has previously held roles across marketing, retail sales and the digital customer unit at Mercedes-Benz India. In her new role, she will focus on the use of real-time data, predictive insights and artificial intelligence across customer interactions and marketing activities.
Baid moves to the retail finance and pre-owned cars businesses after leading marketing and customer experience. During his tenure, Mercedes-Benz India launched marketing initiatives including ‘Dreams Day’, ‘Wish Box’ and ‘G-Tribe’.
The company said its retail finance business currently supports more than half of its vehicle sales and has a portfolio exceeding Rs 15,000 crore. In his new role, Baid will oversee the integration of retail finance into the company’s customer journey.
