There’s an Aldi Find for every designer kitchen appliance, piece of home decor, and glassware—and we can’t get enough of it. You can’t tell the difference between the high-dollar and the Aisle of Shame products, which makes us love them even more.
In this week’s roundup of Aldi Finds, there’s a new countertop appliance that looks name-brand, but its price is definitely not.
Aldi’s Ambiano Mini Food Chopper Is Back
The Ambiano Mini Food Chopper is now on Aldi shelves. The chain previously sold a different version of this kitchen appliance, and it’s back with a sleeker, more user-friendly design that looks straight out of Williams Sonoma.

This new food chopper is available in two colorways: black and warm grey. It features a sturdy base with non-slip feet, and the bowl includes a handle for easy removal without a mess. It also has a spout for mess-free pouring.
A food chopper is a bit different from a food processor. It’s best for small batches and typically has fewer bells and whistles and fewer settings. The previous model of this mini chopper could chop, mix, and puree—it’s likely this new version can do the same.
This Aldi Find would be great for chopping nuts, garlic, and onions. It could even make pesto, hummus, breadcrumbs, and a small batch of soup. Think of all the upcoming holiday and fall recipes that could be easily prepped with this handy kitchen gadget.
Although the product description doesn’t specify a maximum capacity, you likely can’t fit more than 2 cups of ingredients into this small appliance, making it ideal for individual meals and half-batch recipes.
This chopper is only $14.99, a quarter of the price of name brand options from KitchenAid and Cuisinart, which cost more than $65. This is a find you don’t want to pass up, even if you’re not in the market for another appliance.
You’ll be able to shop this appliance along with all the other upcoming Aldi Finds beginning Aug. 12. For savings as good as this, the deal is worth lining up for on a weekday morning.
