Lufthansa, the main airline and national flag carrier of Germany, turned 100 on January 6, 2026, celebrating with a range of offers and discounts for its passengers. As part of the celebrations, the airline is offering its customers across India and China a 20 percent discount on their fare. Those in India can make use of the discount using the special promotional code LH100, whereas those in China can use it via the code LHG600.

How to redeem the discount offer by Lufthansa
The booking period for the offer is valid from August 17 to August 28, 2026, for India, according to a report on the airline’s website. Further, travel from selected cities in India, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai, is valid from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. The travel classes available under the offer include Economy and Premium Economy, and the promo code applies to both one-way and return flights.
For China, the promo code is valid from August 1 to September 30, 2026, for travel between September 1 and December 31, 2026, covering flights from Beijing and Shanghai to the rest of the world. The travel classes covered under the offer include Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class, says another report on the website.
The promo code can only be redeemed on the official website or through the Lufthansa mobile application. However, the promo code discount is only applicable on the base fare. It cannot be used to cover fees, taxes, charges, or other supplements that apply to the fare.

The given promo code is valid only for itineraries in which all flights are operated by any combination of Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Edelweiss, Discover Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa City Airlines, Air Baltic or Helvetic Airways.
When booking, only one promo code can be applied. It will apply to all passengers in the booking.
If you request a refund on a ticket that you bought with a promo code, you will receive back only what you paid, the discounted fare. The same rule applies if you rebook; only the discounted value counts toward your new ticket. The exception is rerouting caused by flight cancellations, where standard fare rules apply.
