Fall is fast approaching, at least according to the grocery stores, where pumpkin spice treats abound. But for many, the season is more than just apple cider and cinnamon-flavored sweets—it’s time for football, which means tailgating, game-day celebrations, and long afternoons on the field. It’s not a true sports event without a few snacks in hand, and the snackle box makes that easier than ever.

If you’re not familiar with the viral trend, the snackle box is a tackle box-inspired storage container, only it’s not made for fishing—it’s made for snacking. The nifty organizers are easier than lugging your half-eaten snack bags around everywhere you go, since you can pre-pack a box at home and carry it wherever the wind, or your favorite team, may take you.

Dollar Tree has been a reliable, budget-friendly spot for these containers, but as football season kicks off, you’re going to want to head to Aldi to pick up its latest version of the snacking essential.

Aldi is no stranger to a good snackle box. This year, the German grocery chain released a classic version and a spring-themed box. Both are excellent options for snacking, but its latest drop has game-day snackers in mind.

Crofton, the in-house brand for all things home and kitchen at Aldi, offers everything from gadgets to copycat cookware. But starting on Aug. 26, you’ll find two new, sports-themed snackle boxes joining the Crofton lineup: a mini football and a mini soccer ball.

The football container features six individual compartments for snacks, while the soccer ball appears to come with five. The travel-friendly, portable size makes them perfect for fall sporting events, from your kids’ after school practices to watching the pros on the weekends.

Priced at $2.99 each, Aldi’s latest snackle boxes are a great way to keep sports tryouts, practices, and game days stress-free. Whether you’re packing them for your kids or for yourself, the snacking options are endless. Fill the compartments with a fruit and veggie platter, your favorite trail mix, or whip up a mini charcuterie board with cubed cheese, crackers, and cured meat slices.

Like many fan-favorite Crofton items at Aldi, you’ll find these snackle boxes in the Aldi Finds aisle. This means that once they sell out, they’re unlikely to restock. So, mark your calendar for Aug. 26 and gear up for game day before these disappear for good.
