Aussies who are sick of vacuuming and mopping their floors might be delighted at what Aldi will soon be stocking in its famed middle aisle.
The September 5 version of the supermarket’s Special Buys campaign will include an affordable Ecovacs cleaning robot.
While these robots have been game-changers for owners, they can cost close to $1,000.

But the DEEBOT NEO 4.0 will be under a third of that price tag, and it packs a punch.

It has 11,000Pa suction power, vacuum and mopping functions, carpet detection so that it doesn’t get caught, and a 350ml dustbin and 300ml water tank.
For those not aware of Pa power, 11,000 is at the top end.

So this little Ecovacs robot can certainly suck up everything you want and need.
It’s been designed for “everyday household debris”, including dust, crumbs and hair, and can manoeuvre around your home to reach every nook and cranny.
Ecovacs is a leader in robot vacuum technology, and its other models have received high ratings. They’ve been sold at Aldi in years gone by and, in some instances, they’ve completely sold out.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT NEO 4.0 has one of the highest suction powers on the market.
(Ecovacs)Are robot vacuums worth it?
Yahoo Australia’s Caitie Browne tested the DEEBOT NEO 3.0 last year and was blown away by its performance.
“This little guy really impressed me immediately because it was so quick and easy to map out the area that I wanted cleaned,” she said.
“One of my favourite features is that it will send itself back to the base to empty the dustbin as it fills up, and then it will continue to clean afterward, leaving beautiful clean lines on my carpet.”
Caitie said the robot vacuum worked “really well” on her carpet, and she was “equally impressed” by the suction on her floorboards.
“Just to note, though, it’s definitely not quicker than vacuuming yourself, but it is much more convenient,” she added.
“It seems like something you could just have going on in the background while you work or do other tasks, which is fabulous and a huge win in my book.”
Ecovacs’ window cleaner also to star in Aldi’s Special Buys range
The brand will also be selling the WINBOT NEO MINI in Aldi’s September 5 sale.
Cleaning the windows can be just as laborious as vacuuming and mopping, but this trusty little gadget can take that chore off your hands.
It delivers up to 99.5 per cent coverage with “advanced edge-cleaning technology”.
Caitie found her Ecovacs window cleaner was an “unexpected success” and did a great job getting her glass looking spotless.

Both products can be controlled in the Ecovacs phone app, and you can set them up for a clean while you do a grocery shop, go to the gym, or enjoy your afternoon.
But you’d better get in quick, as Aldi’s Special Buys products don’t last long.
