SK AX is accelerating its “AI-native enterprise” business in partnership with global enterprise software company SAP, applying agentic artificial intelligence across corporate operations. The strategy goes beyond enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation and operations to fundamentally redesign business processes around AI and target the global market.
SK AX announced on the 26th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for “SAP Autonomous Suite and Business AI Collaboration” at SAP’s headquarters in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The signing ceremony was attended by executives from both companies, including SK AX President Kim Wan-jong, Chief Customer Officer Son Geon-il, and Shin Eun-young, President of SAP Korea. Kim also held a separate meeting with SAP CEO Christian Klein to discuss specific collaboration plans.
The core of this partnership is combining SAP’s enterprise AI technology with SK AX’s AI transformation (AX) design and operations expertise accumulated across industrial sites. The two companies aim to apply AI agents across enterprise operations, including ERP, to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate decision-making and work processing.
Specifically, SK AX will integrate its proprietary “AXgenticWire ERP Suite” with SAP’s “SAP Autonomous Suite,” an AI agent autonomous operating environment, and “SAP Business AI,” its enterprise AI product portfolio. Based on this foundation, the company plans to expand its business targeting enterprise customers across industries including finance, manufacturing, and energy.
The AXgenticWire ERP Suite is an integrated service spanning ERP strategy development, implementation, transformation, and operational innovation. It comprises “my Finance,” which supports financial task automation and anomaly detection; EAR Ops, which assists ERP operations; and EAR Studio, which supports ERP system design, development, and testing through AI. AI is also applied to on-site support and consulting. The company provides Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) services that place engineers at customer sites, AI-based ERP transformation consulting called “AIDE,” and applies an AI agent-centric ERP implementation methodology.
SK AX plans to register the AXgenticWire ERP Suite on SAP’s open platform “AI Agent Hub” to supply it to enterprise customers worldwide. Through this, the company expects to shorten ERP implementation and transformation timelines while improving operational quality. SK AX will also participate in SAP’s Early Adopter Care (EAC) program, which allows partners to use pre-release products in real work environments and provide feedback.

We plan to introduce the results of our collaboration to customers worldwide at various global events and business venues.”
This alliance is significant as SAP has secured a leading AX specialist in Asia as a partner in its effort to expand its AI agent ecosystem. SAP has recently positioned agent-based automation as a core strategy in the enterprise AI market, while SK AX, as an IT services affiliate of SK Group, has established a bridgehead for global expansion based on its experience implementing ERP systems for major South Korean corporations.
