A brand-new BMW M3 is right around the corner, and if you don’t fancy the Neue Klasse design inside and out, then this would be a good time to order the current G8X (G80 Sedan / G81 Touring – the latter is unavailable in the States).
A brand-new example from your local dealer will set you back in excess of $79,300. That’s the MSRP of the base M3 Sedan for the 2027 model year. The punchier M3 Competition starts at $83,500, and the M3 Competition xDrive is even more expensive, starting at $88,600. If you buy used, then you should prepare between $60,000 and over $95,000, depending on the mileage, specification, overall condition, and other such factors, as that’s how much a driven car will set you back in today’s second-hand market.
But how much does the one pictured in the gallery is? That’s a question that will be answered six days from now, as it is listed as part of an ongoing online auction on Cars&Bids. There is a reserve on it, d you may want to pay attention to this example, because it has a single owner in the papers since new, and has less than 2,900 miles (~4,700 km) under its belt. It’s unknown why the seller, who bought it new in March 2026, paying $111,450 for it as per the attached window sticker, wants it gone, so your guess is as good as ours.
This is a 2026 model year car, which places it in the facelifted iteration, or LCI (Life Cycle Impulse), in the Munich-based company’s slang. It is a BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan, which means that it sits at the top of the lineup, boasting 523 hp (530 ps/390 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six engine drives all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) in just 3.4 seconds.

By comparison, the rear-wheel drive BMW M3 Competition Sedan is four-tenths of a second slower, as it does 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds. This model has 503 hp (510 ps/375 kW) from a slightly de-tuned version of the same engine. As for the entry-level M3 Sedan, it comes with 473 hp (480 ps/353 kW), and takes 4.1 seconds to reach 60 mph, or two-tenths of a second slower than the smaller M2 Coupe. The M4 (Coupe) is offered in the same flavors and is just as fast as the M3, and the M4 Convertible comes solely as a Competition xDrive model.
Finished in Dakar Yellow, on top of a black interior, this car packs plenty of gear, with the ad mentioning stuff such as the Parking Assistance Package, Driving Assistance Professional, and Executive Package. The 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, the M Sport differential, and carbon ceramic brakes are also on deck, and so are the full Merino leather upholstery, and carbon fiber trim on the inside.
For such a new machine, the owner has had it modified, and the 50th Anniversary badges, the KW height-adjustable springs, and the MAD oil cooler skid plate are mentioned in the listing. Well, these and the ceramic tinted windows. There are no known flaws mentioned in the online ad, which is not a surprise, given that this car is merely half a year old, and it has already had its engine oil and filter changed, in May 2026, when the odometer read 1,462 miles (2,353 km).

Interested parties should know that this 2026 BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan has never been involved in an accident, and there are no mileage discrepancies shown in the Carfax vehicle history report. The car has a clean Florida title, is currently located in Orlando, and is accompanied by the window sticker, as mentioned above, as well as the owner’s manual, and two keys. There is a loan on it, and the title will only become available after it has been paid off.
