A 65-year-old man from New Berlin has died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Walworth County.According to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 9:50 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive man in the roadway at Highway 20 and Townline Road in the town of Troy.Authorities say multiple 911 callers reported that a westbound vehicle struck a pedestrian. The driver returned to the scene and remained there until emergency crews arrived.First responders from the East Troy Fire Department and the Village of East Troy Police Department attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead.The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Rashad R. Johnson, 50, of Norman, Oklahoma. He was arrested on suspicion of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle.The victim’s name has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
