A New Berlin man was found dead in a Walworth County road Thursday morning.

A New Berlin man was found dead on a Walworth County road Thursday morning. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested an Oklahoma man after the crash near Highway 20 and Townline Road in the Town of Troy. Officials said 911 callers reported that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and drove off. After the crash, officials said the vehicle returned to the scene. A news release said first responders found the 65-year-old man unresponsive in the road. Officials arrested the driver, whom they identified as Rashad Johnson, 50, of Norman, Oklahoma. Officials said he was arrested on suspicion of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle.
