Around 50 of them came from Europe, the world\u2019s third-largest car market.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Other Chinese carmakers, including Xpeng and Chery Automobile, also flew in hundreds \u2013 in some cases thousands \u2013 of overseas visitors, with Europeans making up a large share.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The push comes as Chinese EV makers pivot from a bruising domestic price war to overseas expansion, targeting higher margins, particularly in Europe, amid tightening regulations at home.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Visitors check out the Geely Galaxy Light second-generation concept car at the Beijing auto show.
