{"id":10701,"date":"2026-05-06T10:19:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T10:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/10701\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T10:19:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T10:19:14","slug":"germany-advances-ai-drone-swarms-after-successful-stark-system-trials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/10701\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany Advances AI Drone Swarms After Successful STARK System Trials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/militaryai.ai\/\" aria-label=\"WhatsApp Video 2026-01-06 at 04.30.24\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/germany\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/WhatsApp-Video-2026-01-06-at-04.30.24.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"1470\" height=\"620\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Germany is <a href=\"https:\/\/stark-defence.com\/en\/news\/stark-performs-drone-swarms-in-bundeswehr-exercise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">accelerating<\/a> plans for AI-enabled drone swarms after new <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2025\/04\/16\/stark-virtus-loitering-munition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">STARK systems<\/a> trials showed they can cut the time between spotting a target and striking it.<\/p>\n<p>The defense firm deployed its Virtus loitering munition alongside its Minerva command-and-control software during German Armed Forces exercises.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The tests focused on linking reconnaissance drones with strike systems into a single \u201crecce-strike\u201d setup, designed to detect and engage targets in one continuous loop.<\/p>\n<p>Results from the trials indicated the systems worked reliably in simulated battlefield conditions, according to the company.
