The Memorial to the Murdered Jews<\/a> of Europe was discovered vandalized on Tuesday morning, according to the Berlin Police and the German<\/a> Holocaust Memorial’s caretaking organization.<\/p>\n

A stele at the Berlin memorial was discovered covered in green graffiti containing “inflammatory content,” according to a Wednesday police statement. The graffiti was covered by the site’s security, and a cleaning service was commissioned.<\/p>\n

The investigation was taken over by state security, and there are no suspects. The Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews<\/a> of Europe told The Jerusalem Post on \u00a0Thursday that the agency was reviewing the incident as antisemitic and seditious damage. \u00a0<\/p>\n

“The Foundation strongly condemns this act of insult,” the organization said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

On April 26, in the Berlin-Pankow borough, several instances of antisemitic graffiti on apartment buildings were discovered, according to Berlin Police.<\/p>\n

“Kill all Jews” was painted on one wall, according to a photograph published by Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor. According to Judische Allgemeine, Jewish community members also saw a graffiti swastika<\/a> and the statement “Only a dead Jew is a good Jew.”<\/p>\n

In March, a Syrian man was convicted of stabbing a Spanish tourist at the Berlin Holocaust memorial last February.
