In a conference call on Monday, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced that his network will broadcast the Detroit Lions<\/a>‘ Week 10 game in Germany on Nov. 15 as part of a triple-header. It’s the first triple-header of games<\/a> for any broadcaster.<\/p>\n Kickoff for the game is set for 9:30 a.m. ET from FC Bayern Munich Stadium in Munich, Germany. The opponent is still yet to be announced.<\/p>\n The Lions<\/a>‘ trip to Munich will mark the franchise’s third international game. Detroit played at Wembley Stadium in London in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015. The Lions beat the Atlanta Falcons<\/a>, 22-21, on Oct. 26, 2014. Then, on Nov. 1, 2015, the Lions fell to the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> in London, 45-10.<\/p>\n In its first international game, then-Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 325 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Detroit rallied from a 21-0 halftime deficit to down the Falcons. Golden Tate caught seven passes for 151 yards and a score.<\/p>\n The Lions won with a 48-yard field goal from kicker Matt Prater.
