Pharrell Williams and Adidas will debut the Virginia Water Moc in Lucid Ray Blue on Sept. 15. This shoe marks another addition to the artist’s Virginia-branded line.<\/p>\n

Dark brown anchors the Water Moc, with Ray Blue and silver panels. Silver leather wraps the top section. Blue nubuck and brown mesh run throughout, adding texture and contrast. A covered closure system lends a technical vibe to the shoe, pushing it toward outdoor territory instead of standard lifestyle wear.<\/p>\n

The Virginia Water Moc opts for a lighter, more utility-driven construction. The sole borrows some sculpted elements from recent designs, but it maintains a slimmer profile than the Jellyfish.<\/p>\n

Pharrell’s work with the German brand has spawned several hits. Just Fresh Kicks<\/a> wrote, “Pharrell’s tenure with Adidas as one of the most frequent collaborators has delivered some truly iconic footwear in the past decade.”<\/p>\n

His 2016 version of the NMD_R1 dominated sneaker circles, with resale prices for the primary colored pairs climbing into the thousands. The Jellyfish runner debuted in 2025. It landed on several Sneaker of the Year lists despite scarce availability, with just two releases by December. The partners have pushed out new sneakers each month in 2026, covering both the Humanrace line and models under the Virginia brand.<\/p>\n

The Water Moc adapts the standard water-ready shoe template, pairing a breathable upper with a grippy sole unit built for scrambling over wet, uneven ground. This model connects to teasers that Pharrell Williams shared earlier this year, revealing several unreleased designs.
