The energy provider, which serves households in <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Birmingham<\/a>, says it has repriced its Next Fixed 12-month tariff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Tariffs could save customers, on average, \u00a3211 against current predictions for the July \u2013 September Energy Price Cap. Next Fixed 12m v128 is now priced at \u00a31,641 (previously \u00a31,693) for a typical household using gas and electricity, with a \u00a350 per fuel exit fee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The tariff could offer savings of \u00a3211 against the July \u2013 September price cap based on E.ON Next\u2019s current price cap predictions \u2013 though forecasts remain subject to change as market conditions evolve.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/travel\/foreign-office-places-country-do-33898740\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">READ MORE Foreign Office places country on &#8216;do not travel&#8217; list as UK tourists face &#8216;kidnap&#8217;<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">E.ON Next has assessed the factors that influence the price cap and is currently predicting the price cap will increase by \u00a3211 to \u00a31,852 in July.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">EON is &#8220;committed to giving you the information you need, when you need it, especially when it comes to making informed decisions about your energy use,&#8221; it says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">It adds: &#8220;So, after looking at the facts and crunching the numbers, we&#8217;ve predicted that the July price cap will be \u00a31,852. This is an increase of \u00a3211 compared to the April 2026 price cap.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;If you\u2019re a customer on our Next Pledge or Next Flex tariffs, we predict prices will increase from July 2026. To help secure long term certainty, log in to your account or check out our latest fixed tariffs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/labour-party\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Labour Party<\/a> government introduced the energy price cap in 2019 to protect customers on energy tariffs with standard variable rates. The energy regulator Ofgem calculates and sets the energy price cap to reflect industry costs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">They review the price cap every three months. The price cap level is set for customers in England, Wales and Scotland.
